TIP l Have you ever heard of a “Masseria”? It’s these incredible fortified farmhouses found in the picturesque countryside of South of Italy. Think rustic charm, stunning views, and more fresh local produce than you can shake a breadstick at.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning @MasseriaSanPaoloGrande and let me tell you, it was a really authentic Italian experience. From the moment I stepped through the centuries-old archway, I felt like I was transported back in time (but with modern amenities 🫶🏼).

The rooms are decked out in that classic Italian farmhouse style - think exposed stone walls, antique furniture, and the occasional chip in the plaster that just adds to the character. But the real star of the show is the food. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is grown and produced right there on the Masseria’s grounds. The tomatoes, the olive oil, the wine...it’s all crafted with love and pride.

Sitting on the terrace, sipping a glass of Primitivo as the sun sets over the olive groves, is an experience that will stay with you long after you’ve left. It’s the perfect balance of rustic simplicity and pure indulgence.

So if you’re looking for a true taste of la dolce vita, book yourself a stay at a Masseria. Your taste buds (and your soul) will thank you. 🍷🍅
